Investment projects in Kazakhstan

The Samombet project is envisioned as an industrial facility for enriching and processing copper ore extracted from the Northern Samombet deposit located in the Kara‑Karaly district of Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. The plant will include two flotation lines with a combined capacity of approximately 600,000 tonnes of ore per year, designed to process copper‑bearing ore and prepare it for downstream metallurgical production.

The project involves the establishment of a large-scale sea cage aquaculture facility for the farming of marine trout (salmonid species) in the Caspian Sea. The facility is designed to produce up to 5,000 tons of salmonids per year, making it one of the largest such projects in Kazakhstan. The project aims to substantially reduce imports of salmonids, covering approximately 60% of national demand.

Hyper Cloud is a new high-technology data-center project initiated by Beeline Kazakhstan through its cloud business division Hyper Cloud Solution, part of the VEON telecom ecosystem. The facility is designed as a Tier-III certified center of excellence for sovereign cloud, enterprise digital services, and AI compute in Kazakhstan, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and scalability of infrastructure.

The Semey Solid Waste Landfill Project is a regional infrastructure initiative aimed at modernizing municipal solid waste management near the city of Semey, Abai Region, Kazakhstan. The project includes the construction of a sanitary landfill capable of handling up to 300,000 tonnes of household solid waste per year, along with a sorting facility with an annual capacity of 75,000 tonnes.

The Turan May project is an investment initiative to construct a modern oilseed extraction plant and vegetable oil refinery in Semey, Kazakhstan. The plant will process up to 500 tons of oilseed per day through extraction and refine up to 300 tons of vegetable oil per day, targeting both domestic consumption and export markets.
