Investment projects in Kazakhstan

In the Almaty region, a new city project — Alatau City — is being implemented. It is designed to connect Almaty with the regional center Konaev and will cover an area of 88,000 hectares with a length of about 70 kilometers. The city is planned to become an industrial, tourist, financial, and educational hub with a population of 2 million peopleand the capacity to attract 4 million tourists annually.

In Astana, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST” Madiyar Sultanbek held a meeting with representatives of the leading German manufacturer of technological equipment Amandus Kahl GmbH & Co. KG and the Kazakhstani agricultural enterprise “Astana Agro” Production Company LLP.

Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek Holding, hereinafter referred to as DBK, the Bank) and Prima Kus LLP signed an agreement to open a credit line to finance the construction of the third stage of a modern poultry complex for the production and processing of broiler meat in the Almaty region. Prima Kus plans to launch the second, third and fourth stages of production.

The total cost of the project exceeds 27 billion tenge. The implementation will take place in stages: in 2025-2026, it is planned to launch the first stage, in 2026-2027 — the second.

A solemn ceremony of laying a capsule in the foundation of the future Texol Steel Technology foundry, a new strategic facility within the framework of the development of the industrial cluster of the region, was held in the southern industrial zone of Atyrau. The new Texol Steel Technology plant will produce steel parts for railway wagons — stops, supports, clamps, axle boxes, etc.
