Investment projects in Kazakhstan

This project aims to upgrade and expand the existing production facilities of Format Mach Company Engineering LLP, the only certified manufacturer of small and medium railcar castings in Kazakhstan. The company specializes in casting couplers, clamps, wedges, and other metal components for the railway, oil & gas, energy, and mining sectors.

IL-TOV LLP is implementing a project to expand its poultry processing plant in the Akmola Region, specializing in semi-finished chicken breast fillet products. The plant will be the first of its kind in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. By 2026-2027, the company plans to add two new production lines, increasing its total capacity to 10,000–12,000 tons annually.

The project involves the construction of Kazakhstan’s first alkylate production plant in Pavlodar region, based on a butane-butylene fraction. The plant will produce approximately 100,000 tons per year of alkylate, a high-octane gasoline component with a low content of harmful impurities such as sulfur, aromatics, and unsaturated hydrocarbons.

The Kazak Protein Agri-Industrial Complex is a large-scale investment project aimed at creating a vertically integrated agricultural and food processing facility in Kazakhstan. The complex will focus on the processing deep processing of cereals and legumes. The project is strategically located in the Baikonur district of Astana, Kazakhstan, enabling easy access to key logistics hubs and export markets.

The project involves the construction of a new international airport approximately 30 km southwest of Aktobe city, near the village of Nurbulak. 01 hectares and will include a modern passenger terminal (initial capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour), a 300-car parking apron, hotel facilities, administrative and service buildings, aircraft hangars, a catering unit, fuel storage, and related infrastructure.

In partnership with Sinopec, Técnicas Reunidas is developing a steam cracker unit within a petrochemical complex led by KazMunayGas in Atyrau Province.

3 km in length between the Karabatan switching point and the Ulke substation to interconnect the currently isolated Western Zone with the main Unified Power System (UPS) of Kazakhstan. It also includes the reconstruction and expansion of the Ulke 500 kV substation and the construction of a 500 kV outdoor switchyard at Karabatan.

Baiterek Holding, Kazakhstan's key development institution, is exploring investment cooperation with BlueGen Ltd, an Israeli company specializing in environmental solutions, particularly in water resources, wastewater treatment, and desalination. This collaboration aims to enhance Kazakhstan's water infrastructure by constructing and modernizing wastewater treatment facilities (WWTF) across the country.

The Kokshetau Multidisciplinary Hospital is a large-scale public-private partnership (PPP) healthcare infrastructure project located in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. The project involves the construction of a modern 630-bed hospital designed to serve over 730,000 residents of the Akmola region. It is being developed as a greenfield facility with a total built-up area of approximately 110,000–111,000 m² on a 17-hectare site.
