Investment projects in Kazakhstan

The project involves the construction and development of ski infrastructure in the Central Zone of the Almaty Mountain Cluster in Kazakhstan. It covers the areas of Chkalov Peak, Sukhoy Log, Kimasar, Oi Qaragai – Pioneer and Pioneer – Butakovka. The planned infrastructure includes aerial ropeways, ski slopes, water-supply systems for artificial snowmaking, engineering networks and supporting mountain-resort facilities.

The project involves the development of a new 100 MW wind power plant in Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan. The project was selected through Kazakhstan’s renewable energy auction mechanism for wind power projects in the Northern Zone of the Unified Power System of Kazakhstan. On 19 May 2026, KOREM JSC held the auction for a 100 MW wind power plant construction project.

The Kolsai Lakes Cableway Project is a planned tourism infrastructure development in Kegen District, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. The project is intended to connect Lower Kolsai Lake and Middle Kolsai Lake within the Kolsai Lakes National Park. The initiative is promoted by LLP “Company Stroy Industriya” and was officially mentioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan as a KZT 15 billion investment project.

The project covers the second-stage infrastructure development of the Special Economic Zone “National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark” in the Karabatan area of Atyrau Region, Kazakhstan. Its main purpose is to provide the engineering and utility backbone required for the future Butadiene and Polyethylene projects.

A+ Almaty Business Park is an elite Class A+ business centre developed by BI Group in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The project is located in one of the city’s key business areas, at the intersection of Al-Farabi Avenue and Seifullin Avenue. According to BI Group, the complex includes 45,000 m² of office and commercial premises, a 2,500 m² conference hall, 5,000 m² of retail space, and more than 800 parking spaces across two underground levels.

BION is a planned Class A+ multifunctional business ecosystem by BI Group on Al-Farabi Avenue in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The project is positioned as a premium commercial environment combining office space, retail, wellness, restaurants, cafes, event areas, family-oriented public spaces, and urban recreation.

KAZ Minerals is planning to develop a large copper smelter near Aktogay in the Abay Region of Kazakhstan. The project is intended to add domestic copper-processing capacity and reduce the export of KAZ Minerals’ own copper concentrate. The planned annual capacity is approximately 300,000 tonnes of cathode copper.

5 BCMA is a planned gas treatment and processing facility at the Kashagan field in Kazakhstan. 5 billion cubic meters of raw associated gas per year. The plant is intended to convert associated gas from the Kashagan field into commercial gas and other by-products.

The project involves the construction of a large cheese production plant in Kazakhstan’s Almaty Region. The investment agreement was signed between Aydarbek Saparov, Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, and Gholam Ali Soleimani, President of Iran-based food holding Solico Group. The facility is planned as a deep milk-processing project focused on cheese production.
