The Tengiz GSC is a large‑scale gas‑processing facility being built near the Tengiz Field oil field in western Kazakhstan. Its main purpose is to treat “dry gas” produced at Tengiz, extracting valuable hydrocarbon fractions — primarily ethane and propane — from the gas stream. 6 million tonnes of ethane and up to 360,000 tonnes of propane per year.

The Butadiene Project is a major petrochemical development aimed at establishing large-scale production of butadiene and synthetic rubber derivatives in Kazakhstan. The project is being implemented by Butadien LLP, a subsidiary of Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu, which belongs to the sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna.

The Akkuduk Gas Exploration Project is a collaborative initiative between Kazakhstan's national gas operator, QazaqGaz, and the private entity KOR Oil Company. Situated in the Mangystau region, the Akkuduk site is a well-explored geological block with confirmed gas reserves. The project aims to accelerate geological exploration and development in line with the President's directive to expand the nation's gas resource base.

The Shalkar Gas Exploration Project is a strategic initiative aimed at expanding Kazakhstan's natural gas resource base. Located in the Aktobe region, the project is a collaboration between the national gas company QazaqGaz and the private investor KOR Oil Company JSC. Shalqar Energy LLP serves as the project operator.

The North Buzachi Oil and Gas Field, located on the northwestern tip of the Buzachi Peninsula in Kazakhstan's Mangystau region, is an onshore heavy oil field discovered in 1975. It commenced production in 1999, overcoming technical challenges associated with its high-viscosity crude oil through advanced extraction methods.

The project involves constructing a hydrogen production unit at the Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery (POCR) in Kazakhstan. This facility will produce hydrogen essential for hydrotreatment processes, enabling the annual production of approximately 160,000 tonnes of winter diesel fuel. The project involves using steam reforming technology, one of the most cost-effective and widely applied methods for hydrogen production worldwide.
