Investment projects in Kazakhstan

The Kenderli International Airport is a strategic infrastructure project aimed at enhancing tourism and connectivity in Kazakhstan's Mangystau region. Located approximately 13 kilometers from the Kenderli resort area, the airport is designed to facilitate regular flights connecting Kenderli with major cities such as Almaty and Astana.

The project involves the construction of a new airport in the resort area of Katon-Karagay in East Kazakhstan. The airport will serve both domestic and international flights, contributing to the development of tourism and improving the region's transportation accessibility.

The Bakhty – Ayagoz railway line is a strategic infrastructure project in Kazakhstan aimed at developing the country’s transit potential and strengthening connectivity with China. Its implementation will increase rail transport capacity between the two countries from 28 to approximately 48 million tons of cargo per year.

Alstom, a leading French multinational company specializing in rail transport, is expanding its footprint in Kazakhstan through a comprehensive project that includes: Delivery of 117 new electric freight locomotives to Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ). Construction of new service centers in Astana, Almaty, Arys, and Shu to provide maintenance services for electric locomotives.

This project involves constructing a modern cargo and passenger airport within the Khorgos–Eastern Gate Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the Zhetysu region of Kazakhstan, near the Chinese border. The airport aims to enhance Kazakhstan's role as a key transit hub along the Western Europe–Western China corridor and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The project involves the construction of a new international airport approximately 30 km southwest of Aktobe city, near the village of Nurbulak. 01 hectares and will include a modern passenger terminal (initial capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour), a 300-car parking apron, hotel facilities, administrative and service buildings, aircraft hangars, a catering unit, fuel storage, and related infrastructure.

Restoration of Public Roads of Republican Significance aims to enhance Kazakhstan's road infrastructure by rehabilitating and upgrading over 8,254 kilometers of republican roads in 2025. This includes the construction and reconstruction of 994 kilometers, capital repairs of 390 kilometers, and medium repairs of 6,900 kilometers.

The Sarzha Multifunctional Marine Terminal is a strategic infrastructure project located at Kuryk Port on the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan. Developed by SEMURG INVEST LLP, the project aims to enhance Kazakhstan's transport and logistics capabilities along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor.

The project involves the construction of a modern shipyard on the Caspian Sea coast near the port of Kuryk, Mangistau region, Kazakhstan. The shipyard will build and repair various types of vessels, including tankers, dry cargo ships and universal ferries, in order to strengthen Kazakhstan's maritime infrastructure and reduce dependence on foreign vessels.
