Kazakhstan Fourth Oil Refinery

The project concerns the proposed construction of Kazakhstan's fourth large-scale oil refinery. The planned greenfield facility is expected to process up to 10 million tonnes of crude oil per year. The Government views the refinery as a strategic project intended to strengthen domestic fuel security and increase Kazakhstan's total refining capacity to approximately 40 million tonnes per year by 2033.
