Initiation, engineering, procurement, commissioning. Each phase changes who you should be talking to and what they need. A short field guide.

Initiation & Feasibility: the budget and scope are still being shaped. This is where suppliers and partners can still influence specifications. Reach the project owner directly.
Engineering Design & Planning: the design contractor is now central. If you supply equipment or specialist services, this is the moment to be specified into the design.
Procurement & Construction: the EPC contractor runs the show. Decisions move fast and are largely locked; your route in is through the contractor, not the owner.
Commissioning & Operation: the build is done. The opportunity shifts to operations, maintenance and aftermarket.
