The Ishim–Astana gas pipeline is an international natural gas pipeline project intended to transport Russian natural gas into the northern and northeastern regions of Kazakhstan, addressing a long‑standing deficit of pipeline gas in these areas and modernizing the republic’s gas infrastructure.
