The City of Almaty is planning a new, modern football stadium designed to meet UEFA Category IV requirements, making it suitable to host international matches and top‑level competition in Kazakhstan’s largest city. The stadium will have a capacity initially planned for 35 000 spectators with ongoing consideration to expand to 45 000 seats.
